According to MelOn’s 2023 Year-End Recap, the most-liked song on the platform this year is IVE’s “I AM”

On December 11th, Korean music streaming platform MelOn released its 2023 Year-End Recap data. This statistics is based on MelOn’s big data from November 1st of the previous year to October 31st of the current year.

Accordingly, “I AM” accumulated a total of 219,574 “Likes” making it the most-liked song of the year. Additionally, it secured the 2nd place for the “Song with 100,000 Likes in the Shortest Time in 2023” and ranked 3rd for songs that consistently held a position in the top 10 of this year’s TOP100 chart.


Meanwhile, BTS Jungkook’s “Seven” achieved the milestone of surpassing 100,000 “Likes” within just 10 days, earning recognition as the fastest song to reach this mark during 2023. The song also set records as the first male artist’s song in 2023 to top Melon’s daily and weekly charts, reach the top spot in MelOn’s TOP100 chart, and achieve the feat of reaching the TOP100 within 11 hours of release.

Additionally, NewJeans’ “Hype Boy” stood out as the song that spent the longest time in MelOn’s TOP 10, maintaining its position for an impressive 4,191 hours in the TOP 100 chart in 2023 alone.

Among the most selected songs in this year’s DJ playlist, NewJeans’ “Ditto,” “OMG” and “Hype Boy” ranked first to third. Among them, “Ditto” was selected 1.28 million times.
