As a result, he severed his own Achilles tendon and departed from the underworld once and for all.
Now, he lives a quiet life, 11 years after the ordeal, and runs a small business far away. Unfortunately, when Gi-seok, who had become the second-in-command in the gang, is found murdered under mysterious circumstances, Gi-jun is forced to come back to exact revenge and get to the bottom of the mystery. Cast and Characters

If there’s one thing that Netflix Kdramas get right, is their fantastic cast. So Ji-sub plays Nam Gi-jun in the new drama, bringing forth a gritty determination and bloody action sequences that will leave viewers on edge. Ji-sub was last seen in the medical thriller Doctor Lawyer where he played a disgraced doctor-turned medical litigation lawyer out to get revenge.
Other than him, we have Ahn Kil-kang, who will play Koo Bong-san, Gi-jun’s former boss, Huh Joon-ho will play Lee Ju-un and the rival gang leader. Other actors included in the drama are Lee Bum-soo, Gong Myung, Choo Young-woo and Jo Han-chul.
Also known as 광장, the series is directed by Choi Sung-eun and is based on the webtoon Plaza Wars (광장) written by Oh Se-hyung and illustrated by Kim Kyun-tae.
Mercy For None is expected to be a high-octane action series full of dark and moving themes of vengeance, brotherhood and the moral complexities that exist in the criminal underworld. The intense fight sequences are expected to leave viewers engrossed and on edge, along with a nuanced story. With only 7 episodes, the series will be available to stream on Netflix on June 06, 2025.
