She talked about entering NewJeans’s lives wanting to teach them about not only how to be celebrities, but about life.

She revealed, “These kids came in not knowing much; they were full of talent but unsure how to express it. They wanted to become celebrities but didn’t understand what it meant to be an artist. They auditioned and joined because it’s a big company, without knowing the system. The important thing is how we teach and guide them, and what kind of people we help them become.”

She stated that during the period they are signed with ADOR, they are studying under Min Hee Jin.

The ADOR CEO stated, “I always tell the members that during the contract period, they are studying with me. Over these seven years, they should learn skills to support themselves in the future. How long will they stay with me? As they mature, they will want to pursue their own paths. We need to prepare them to make independent choices and sustain themselves. If a mother keeps spoon-feeding them, how will they live on their own later?”

There, she revealed that she does not want NewJeans to renew their contract if they don’t want to, saying, “If they work hard for seven years and then get bored, they might want to study abroad or get married. I hope they can live the life they desire afterward.”

She explained further, stating she believes it is a waste for the NewJeans members to renew their contract for the sake of profits. Instead, she wants them to live good lives. She also does not see the point of clinging onto artists and sticking to one concept, as she believes K-pop is an ever-changing genre.

She said, “I believe that holding onto and re-signing artists just for the company’s benefit is a waste. In a way, my vision is something the K-pop scene hasn’t seen before. The members and their parents might have found my vision interesting and fun. I dislike the idea of the K-pop scene becoming stagnant. It’s not fun. If we have our own style, other styles can also become popular. By trying different things, we can sustain ourselves. That’s what makes it exciting. I thought if we could make good money while doing this, we could become a good business role model.”
