Former ADOR CEO, Min Heejin, broke her silence. Min Heejin directed her criticism at HYBE, saying, “I hope through this incident, this rotten organization will be reformed.” She also warned, “Don’t cover up your wicked act with money and power.”

Min Heejin recently shared with Joy News 24, “The reason I’ve been enduring this long and painful struggle for months is because neither NewJeans nor I should be the scapegoat of HYBE’s retaliation.”

What drove Min Heejin to continue this long and tough battle which began in April? What pushes Min Heejin to confront HYBE, despite losing a lot of things during the process? Through Joy News 24, Min Heejin revealed her side of the story, expressing her thoughts and experiences without omissions or additions, according to her own wishes.

Below is Min Heejin’s full statement:

HYBE’s claims, which began with an illegal audit, are entirely fabricated and fictional.

On April 22, HYBE announced they were launching an audit, yet the audit inquiries they sent on that day were based on illegally obtained personal information and filled with absurd, fabricated, and low-quality questions. Surprisingly, this suggests that HYBE had ‘already’ illegally accessed and acquired personal information to make these questions even before the formal audit began. How on earth could they obtain another person’s personal data without consent before the audit even started? This is very chilling.

What is the reason behind this unexpected illegal audit? I believe it is out of resentment held by HYBE executives, including Chairman Bang Sihyuk, former CEO Park Jiwon, and BELIFT Lab CEO Kim Taeho. I openly criticized and called out their numerous issues and wrongdoings in front of HYBE’s management and board members, and I believe this lowly act of targeting me with an audit is their petty revenge.

The reasons I have been bearing the personal financial burden to continue this long, painful fight for months are, first, because neither I nor NewJeans should be sacrificed as a scapegoat to HYBE’s irrational, hostile retaliation; and second, because I hope that exposing HYBE’s atrocities and malicious acts to the public will lead to reforming this rotten organization.

I sincerely wish for a society where wicked acts can no longer be concealed by money and power.

-Fighting… This is a very scandalous incident, but the media are very quiet about it. It’s frightening. I wonder what kind of battle Min Heejin has been fighting on her own…

-Fighting. Honestly, I don’t think that company can be reformed…… They should just go bankrupt.

-Yeah, yeah. Exactly. But Min Heejin should apologize to the victims instead of staying silent and also reform herself.

-I’m rooting for Min Heejin.

-I completely agree with the last line. Please.

-Who would have thought HYBE would turn out this way when the scandal broke in April?

-Min Heejin has been in the entertainment industry for years. So, for her to be this horrified… How severe must HYBE’s issues be?

-They took revenge just because she embarrassed them in public?ㄷㄷㄷㄷㄷ

-It’s clear they’re trying to wear her down. I don’t think the term ‘workplace harassment’ suits them. They’re like a crime organization at this point.

-Fighting. Stay strong!! I can’t help much, but I already deleted all of HYBE idols’ songs from my playlist. If we want to clean up the shit of the entertainment industry a.k.a HYBE, we need to boycott them.

-This is very impressive of her. I hope she wins.
