‘My Merry Marriage’ illustrates happiness through people at different stages of their lives. Singleness, marriage, and divorce are placed under a spotlight. People from different generations are featured. The series also stars Park Ha Na, Kim Sa Kwon, and Lee Yeon Doo.
The family series airs every weekday on KBS1 at 8:30 PM KST. The global audience can stream the series on Kocowa. It ranked number one and scored 11.4% in television ratings following its premiere week, according to ‘Nielsen Korea.’
In ‘My Merry Marriage,’ Park Sang Nam portrays the son of a Jayce Fashion Chairman. Even though his father is rich, his mother struggled financially.
Park Sang Nam is best known for starring in the Kdramas ‘Twenty Twenty,’ ‘Military Prosecutor Do Bae Man,’ and ‘The Heavenly Idol.’ He made his acting debut with his current agency, SidusHQ, in 2018.
This summer, his dramatic film ‘The Daechi Scandal’ premiered in theaters. It costarred former Wonder Girls member Ahn So Hee, Takuya, and Jo Eun Yoo.
“‘The Daechi Scandal’ is set in the Daechi neighborhood, the center of private education where ambitious parents and students gather. When private institute instructor Yoon Im and middle school teacher Ki Haeng are spotted together, rumors about the leakage of exam questions start spreading in the neighborhood, bringing back memories of Yoon Im’s college life that she wanted to forget,” ‘Soompi’ reports.
After its June premiere, the movie set the stage for Park Sang Nam to advance his career with a completely different genre. So he is exercising his acting talent in a family series with ‘My Merry Marriage.’
