However, in a community thread, aespa’s fans MYs discussed why the pairing of Winter and NingNing isn’t being pushed enough by the agency despite high demand.
In a forum, titled, “It Seems Like SM Doesn’t Want to Push NingNing and Winter,” netizens wondered why the Winter and NingNing’s pairing was not being utilized by the agency that much.
“I’m not saying Winter and NingNing aren’t being pushed, but when it comes to pairing up within aespa, Winter and NingNing aren’t often paired together,” a netizen shared.
“Despite having high demand from fans for a MingMingz (pair name) combination, the company doesn’t pair them up.”
MYs expressed how nice it would be to see SM Entertainment push the pair more. They also mentioned several opportunities that can explore Winter and NingNing’s potential more as a duo, as well as how these activities could complement their individual appeal.
“It would be nice to see some more push,” a fan shared.
“For NingNing, she is funny and fit for variety. Winter should get more MC gigs and OSTs. But aespa are doing really well right now I’m happy for them,” another one added.
