On December 5, a media outlet reported that idol-actress Nana and model Chae Jong-seok, who previously drew attention with their intense chemistry in the MV for Baek Z Young’s “Indeed, It Was Love”, are currently in a relationship.
In fact, previously in her 25th debut anniversary interview, Baek Ji-young (Baek Z Young) revealed that Nana recommended Chae Jong-seok as the male lead for the video, and director Lee Eung-bok finalized the choice due to their great visual compatibility, height difference, and fresh appeal.
Following this report, the agencies of both Nana and Chae Jong-seok have issued official statements, claiming that they cannot confirm the relationship since it is a private matter.
Fans, however, have largely interpreted these statements as indirect confirmation and are celebrating the “visual couple” with blessings and support. Nana, born in September 1991, is 6 years older than Chae Jong-seok, born in January 1997.
Meanwhile, Chae Jong-seok was previously embroiled in dating rumors with actress Han So-hee in 2023. Online communities speculated about their relationship, citing matching couple items and overlapping international trips.
However, Han So-hee’s agency firmly denied the claims, stating, “It (the news) is not true at all”
