Recently, just hours before Kim Sae-ron’s family held a press conference making serious allegations against actor Kim Soo-hyun, his Korean fan union, including fancafe “Yukaris” and DC Inside’s Kim Soo-hyun Gallery, issued a powerful joint statement pledging continued support.
In the declaration titled “Joint Support Statement from Kim Soo-hyun’s Korean Fan Union,” fans expressed unwavering belief in the actor’s integrity. “As a Korean fan union of actor Kim Soo-hyun, we will continue to support him without change,” the statement read. It praised Kim for his longstanding dedication to Korean entertainment, noting that “he has consistently shown humility, warmth, and social responsibility through his roles.”
The statement continued, “We hope Kim Soo-hyun continues his work through diverse projects, and we will not hold back in our support. We believe the truth will eventually be revealed. Please refrain from spreading unverified information and rumors”, before concluding with the promise, “We will always stand by actor Kim Soo-hyun.”
The support campaign did not stop there. Fans on Yukaris organized a relay of encouraging messages, flooding the platform with phrases like “We’re with Kim Soo-hyun no matter what.” In fact, Yukaris also previously expressed support for Kim Soo-hyun when the actor’s controversies first emerged.
At the same time, the timing of the statement sparked controversy when, the following day, on March 27, the legal representative of Kim Sae-ron’s bereaved family held a press conference. During the event, the family claimed that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a relationship with Kim Sae-ron starting when she was a minor. They released alleged KakaoTalk messages from 2016—when Kim Sae-ron was 17—alongside a handwritten letter she wrote in 2024 referencing their relationship lasting 5–6 years.
With these revelations now public, attention is turning toward Kim Soo-hyun’s fandom. As it turns out, the fans are still expressing constant support, posting constant messages of “We will stand alongside actor Kim Soo-hyun without being swayed”.
Netizens who see such a reaction couldn’t help but be baffled, leaving comments such as, “How cr*zy do a person have to be to say things like this”, “There’s no helping those people cr*zy over a man”, and “They sure are unswayingly stupid”.
