“No Backstabbing in China” Fiestar’s Efforts Pay Off as They Reach “Gag Concert”

According to OSEN on Nov 7th, Fiestar recently participated in the recording of KBS2’s variety show “Gag Concert”.

Fiestar joined the segment “Grandma Malja, the King of Communication”, where comedian Kim Young-hee, dressed as the character Grandma Malja, interacts with the audience and provides answers to their worries. This segment previously featured various celebrities, including ZEROBASEONE, Chaeyeon, Ahn Hye-kyung, Solbi, Lee Hye-jung, Sleepy, Yoon Hyung-bin, Song Hae-na, Seo Dong-joo, Yoo Hee-kwan, Ji Seung-hyun, DinDin, Park Seul-gi, Sayuri, Kim Seung-hyun & Jang Jung-yoon, Kim Sung-ryung, Kim Ga-yeon, Choi Joon-seok, Kim Jung-hwa & Yoo Eun-sung, No Min-woo and Shim Hyung-rae, who shared their concerns and received refreshing advice.

Fiestar recently made a comeback after six years and is actively promoting. Cao Lu expressed “My dream was to reunite someday, and to achieve that, I worked in live commerce in China to save money. With that money, I purchased the rights to Fiestar’s song ‘You’re Pitiful’”, officially announcing Fiestar’s return.

Led by Cao Lu, Fiestar regrouped to remake “You’re Pitiful”, revisiting aspects like costumes, arrangement, choreography and the music video to improve on elements they had previously found lacking. Reuniting for their 12th debut anniversary, Fiestar released the “You’re Pitiful” remake on Aug 31st, offering a meaningful gift to their fans.

After that, Fiestar performed on “Show! Music Core”, appeared on various variety shows and engaged with fans. Notably, Cao Lu appeared on MBC’s “Radio Star”, where she clarified rumors such as the “backstabbing” allegations, adding significance by performing alongside her members.

Meanwhile, KBS2’s “Gag Concert” airs every Sunday at 11 PM.
