Park Gyu Young of “Squid Game 2” recently posted something on Instagram that roused speculation, which has now become more intense, over important details of the next “Squid Game 3” season lurking in the now deleted post.
In the concerned post, an innocuous picture of Park while resting on set appeared, and an iconic figure in a pink soldier uniform could be seen in the background.
Viewers wasted no time in recognizing the figure as Park Gyeong Seok, played by Lee Jin Wook, a character who nearly met a deadly fate in Season 2.
In case viewers remember, in episode 7 of Season 2, Park Gyeong Seok is shot dead by a pink soldier trying to flee the game, leaving many to think he was dead.

However, in Park Gyu Young’s photo, it seems like he becomes a pink soldier, which suggests that his character survives.
(As mentioned previously, there was another pink soldier in Season 1 who was pretending to be a soldier.)
Netflix and the production team of “Squid Game” sought to prevent leaks and spoilers at all costs, from NDAs for reporters writing about the series to prohibiting behind-the-scenes production footage from being filmed.
They have taken extreme measures to prevent leaks and spoilers. The company apparently has contracts that impose severe punishments on actors who will spoil the plot of the upcoming season.
Park Gyu Young’s agency, Saram Entertainment, commented on the post, saying, “As for the picture, please watch Season 3,” leading to fans speculating about what the picture meant.
