On December 25, the YouTube channel “Salon Drip 2” released a video titled “Will Park Hyo-shin Come for Christmas? Yes“.
During the episode, Park Hyo-shin revealed that he appeared on the show at BTS V‘s recommendation. He humorously said, “I recently sang with Taehyung. Since he’s serving in the military, he can’t do much himself, so I came today to act as his avatar.” Park Hyo-shin and V collaborated on the digital single “Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo-shin)” in November.
Host Jang Do-yeon placed a life-size cutout of V next to Park Hyo-shin during the show. She asked, “Did you become friends first then work together?” Park Hyo-shin replied, “Yes, we didn’t meet because of work. V genuinely loves music, and we became closer while talking about it. We eventually started sharing wine together. One day, while chatting, V showed me some tracks he was working on, and we casually started creating melodies together. It was so fun that we decided to collaborate. From the start, it never felt awkward because we talked about music so much.”
When Jang Do-yeon suggested that V likely approached him first, Park Hyo-shin laughed and said, “Probably.” He also shared, “I’ve known (Kang) Dong-won for a long time. Someone we both knew introduced Taehyung, and he said he wanted to join us, so we started hanging out together.”
When Jang Do-yeon asked “Are you, V and Kang Dong-won all close? How exclusive is this group?”, Park Hyo-shin replied “It’s not about being exclusive. Let’s meet together sometime”, extending an invitation to Jang Do-yeon.
Park Hyo-shin added, “When the three of us hang out, we play music and have fun. Kang Dong-won also loves music.” Jang Do-yeon mentioned, “I heard that you sing to Kang Dong-won over the phone.” Park Hyo-shin confirmed, “Dong-won sings to me too.”
