Park Shin Hye is ready to take on the role of a devil in her upcoming SBS TV series ‘The Judge from Hell.’ Her character, who is named Kang Bit Na, travels from hell to inhabit the body of a judge. Her mission is to murder evil people and take them to hell. Park Shin Hye recently shared her thoughts in an interview about her new role that is categorized as a villain, according to a report from Zapzee.Â
“The script was so much fun. At a time when I was wondering what project to take on, I was thrilled to be given something with such an interesting concept. The fresh story and characters really stood out to me. I was also excited because I’ll be able to show a different side of myself compared to my previous roles,” she said.

Her on-screen character is considered “cold and unfeeling,’ because she is punishing people. Park Shin Hye has to effortlessly portray the character’s negligence when it comes to the individuals’ circumstances. Despite the challenge to play the devil, she admits there is a hidden surprise in her new role.
“Bit Na is also playful, has a refreshing, bold side, and can sometimes be seen as cute due to her overflowing confidence. I hope the viewers will find her charm, as there are moments where her lines and the situations she finds herself in are quite comedic.”
She added, “I’ll be bringing you some refreshing action and verdicts that will blow away the mundane. Please look forward to ‘The Judge from Hell.'”Â

‘The Judge From Hell,’ which co-stars Kim Jae Young, Kim In Kwon and Kim Hye Hwa, premieres on September 21 at 10PM KST on SBS TV. It’s scheduled to air every Friday and Satuday. The fantasy series will be available for streaming on Disney Plus.
