“Parole Examiner Lee” Peeks at a Tense Battle To Serve Justice Without Compromise

A suspenseful battle of wits ensues for Go Soo, Kwon Yuri, and Baek Ji Won, as they attempt to thwart the schemes of Lee Hak Joo is seen in the latest poster of Parole Examiner Lee.

This tension plays out in the highly anticipated tvN Monday-Tuesday drama, directed by Yoon Sang Ho and written by Park Chi Hyung.

Parole Examiner Lee centers around Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), a lawyer who transitions into the unique role of “parole judge,” where he serves as the last line of judgment, blocking those with dark intentions from walking free.

The production team recently unveiled a striking “VS Poster,” amplifying the rivalry and suspense surrounding the core characters. The poster showcases Lee Han Shin, detective Ahn Seo-yoon (Kwon Yuri), and the feared former loan shark Choi Hwa-ran (Baek Ji Won) as they work tirelessly to prevent the arrogant chaebol Ji Myeong-seop (Lee Hak Joo) from escaping prison and evading justice. In the image, the three stand shoulder-to-shoulder, forming a “human iron wall” that symbolizes their unwavering resolve to enforce the law against those with sinister motives.

Lee Han Shin’s calm smile at the center of the group reveals his quiet confidence and determination. The display of his poise hints that he’s more than ready to confront any challenge, no matter how formidable. His stance, combined with the text emblazoned on the prison gate reading, “I will serve you properly until the end,” encapsulates the drama’s core theme: justice will be served without compromise.

On the opposing side, Ji Myeong-seop is depicted with a smug grin, glancing back defiantly. His arrogant expression signifies his willingness to take on the iron wall created by Lee Han-shin, Ahn Seo-yoon, and Choi Hwa-ran, hinting at an intense conflict as he attempts to maneuver his way to freedom. The clash between Ji Myeong-seop and the trio promises viewers an engaging and suspense-filled narrative as these characters confront each other in a fierce struggle for power and ethics.

The suspense surrounding how this human barrier, composed of a parole judge, a detective, and a reformed loan shark, will thwart Ji Myeong-seop’s schemes forms a tantalizing mystery. Will their ironclad defense hold strong against his manipulations? Can they stop him from carrying out his evil deeds?

Parole Examiner Lee is set to premiere on Monday, November 18, offering viewers an intense courtroom and crime drama that explores the moral gray areas of justice and redemption.
