SEVENTEEN might have a busy schedule ahead of them this 2025, but their fans, CARATs, weren’t happy with the agency’s upcoming activities for the boy group.

On Jan. 2, Asia Kyungjae reported the scheduled activities of several K-pop groups, including SEVENTEEN. The outlet shared that SEVENTEEN is set to drop a new album and launch a world tour to meet CARATs globally. Aside from the schedules, it also mentioned the pending military enlistment of several members.

“SEVENTEEN’s 10th anniversary will be celebrated with a new album and a world tour,” it stated.

“But for the meantime, full-group activities are expected to have some limitations since some members are scheduled for military enlistment in 2025’s first half.”

The outlet continued that PLEDIS Entertainment is currently working to reduce SEVENTEEN’s “hiatus” by directing its attention to sub-unit promotions, specifically on trio BooSeokSoon, alongside Woozi and Hoshi’s upcoming duo unit.

However, the agency’s intention to give fans more content wasn’t well received by the majority. While some were excited about the music and unit activities, others called out PLEDIS for planning to send SEVENTEEN on a new tour despite knowing that multiple members would be absent from the lineup.

They also worried about the members’ health and well-being, protesting that the group needed rest instead of a new world tour.
