In the post in question, which was made before Naisha left the show for leaking an unreleased song, the London-based dancer made an apparent dig at Lara.

Fans interpreted this as her shading Manon, who is black and still part of the team.

“We talked about this! You knew this spot was yours & so did i!!! So proud of you sister. NOW, i need you to know that you are not only holding it down for the brown girls BUT you are gonna end up having to hold it down for the black girs ASWELL, it might not make sense now, but its a matter of time that it does, & when it does know that i trust you, i believe in you, you can do anyting, you inspire me.i loveu. , she commented on Lara’s Instagram post.

But in her recent TikTok posted, Naisha said that the post was made more than a year ago and that it was meant to congratulate singing mate Lara on her up standards.

“When I saw her win, I was so happy for her. You’re not just holding it down for brown girl’s you’re reaching so many people with these attitudes. “

She added that the comment was not aimed at Manon, but she quickly deleted it after fans began tagging Manon.

Although her comment section was disabled, the video went viral on X, (formerly Twitter).

Some commenters thought her explanation was nonsensical and accused her of “gaslighting.”

Other fans still do not buy her explanation and are questioning their closeness to Lara, and her intentions for the post.
