Actress Roh Jeong-eui began her career as a child actress, leaving a strong impression in the 2010 OCN drama “Quiz of God.” From there, she steadily built her career with roles in dramas such as “Bachelor’s Vegetable Store,” “Scent of a Woman,” “Live Up to Your Name,” “The Great Show,” and the film “Phantom Detective,” portraying a range of characters from young girls to students.

Roh Jeong-eui rose to prominence as a standout example of a child actress who grew up well in the industry, especially through her roles in “18 Again” and “Our Beloved Summer.” She further solidified her status by appearing in Netflix’s “Badland Hunters” and serving as an MC on SBS’s Inkigayo, gaining attention from the MZ generation and continuing her rise as a trending star.

Although Roh Jeong-eui developed a dream of becoming an actress at the age of six after watching entertainers on TV, she faced strong opposition from her parents due to her young age.

However, it was her older sister, nine years her senior, who made that dream possible. Her sister had once dreamed of becoming an actress herself but gave it up due to their parents’ objections. Wanting her younger sister to succeed where she could not, she actively searched for auditions on Roh Jeong-eui’s behalf. Thanks to her sister’s support, Roh Jeong-eui participated in a kids’ modeling contest and won an award, marking the start of her journey.

Most recently, Roh Jeong-eui gained international attention through her appearance in Netflix’s “Hierarchy” and is also set to appear in Channel A’s “The Witch” and MBC’s “Crushology 101.”
Having previously gained popularity among younger audiences as an MC on Inkigayo, she continues her upward momentum and has confirmed her next project, “I’ll Give You the Universe.”
