With just one day left before the premiere of MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Crushology 101”, behind-the-scenes still cuts from the poster shoot featuring Roh Jeong-eui as the lead character Bunny have been released. In the drama, Roh Jeong-eui will star opposite actor Lee Chae-min, who is signed under Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Gold Medalist, as her romantic counterpart.
“Crushology 101” is a romance drama based on the Kakao Webtoon of the same name which has amassed over 170 million cumulative views—and follows Bunny (Roh Jeong-eui) as she navigates a whirlwind of romantic encounters after a disastrous first love. Bunny, whose real name is Ban Hee-jin, is the top student in the sculpture department at Yein University and is considered perfect in both academics and personality. However, her first relationship ends up being a dark chapter in her life, pushing her to the brink of taking a leave of absence. Just then, four charming men—Hwang Jae-yeol (Lee Chae-min), Cha Ji-won (Jo Joon-young), Jo A-rang (Kim Hyun-jin) and Jin Hyun-oh (Hong Min-gi)—appear, sweeping her into a romantic and thrilling campus life.
Even with just a glimpse into the characters and plot, “Crushology 101” already evokes anticipation and excitement. Roh Jeong-eui completely transforms into the lovable Bunny, radiating vitamin-like charm that’s palpable in the behind-the-scenes poster still cuts released by her agency Namoo Actors. Bunny’s lively and confident energy, having grown up cherished and adored by her parents, is perfectly embodied by Roh Jeong-eui, who is expected to anchor the series with a captivating performance at its core.
