Romance in the House Episode 11 Review: Moo-jin’s Big Reveal!

Romance in the House Episode 11 reveals the secrets behind Moo-jin’s fortune, while trouble follows Mi-rae and Tae-pyeong through an online post. Meanwhile, a new start awaits Moo-jin and Ae-yeon, as they begin to live for themselves.

Romance in the House Episode 11 Recap

After the kiss on the bridge, Moo-jin and Ae-yeon have an awkward yet peaceful walk back home when suddenly, they are stopped by Jeong-hyeok. He can no longer hold himself back and asks Moo-jin for the secret behind his wealth. Finally, Moo-jin opens up the secret. He has everyone gather at the nearby restaurant where he reveals how he was scammed years back when Ae-yeon opened her snack bar.

Back then, the landlord doubled the rent upon seeing Ae-yeon’s booming business and Moo-jin tried to find another place to move the snack bar to. However, he landed himself in a scam and was later ruined by the loan sharks who ruined their snack bar. Unable to go back to his family, Moo-jin began his quest to find the person who scammed him of his money.

This way, he landed in Thailand where through the help of some local women, he found the culprit who had now opened up a bar there. After days of keeping an eye on him, Moo-jin finally made his move and sneaked into the bar, where he was able to catch the man. However, punishing him was not something he could do by himself; this is when another woman appeared.

The culprit had scammed this woman’s daughter and disappeared with 4 billion won. Now, together with Moo-jin, she finally got hold of this man and was ready to give him his punishment. She also awarded Moo-jin the 4 billion won that was scammed off her daughter and conveys to Moo-jin that she is a fan of his from when he was active in baseball.

With this, Moo-jin returned to South Korea with the money he found from the culprit’s bar and returned it to all those who were scammed by him. Along with this, he had the woman’s 4 billion won, which became his newfound fortune. With this, Moo-jin ends his story, leaving everyone there shocked.

While it is not an easy story to believe in, the night comes to an end and Ae-yeon returns home with Hyeon-jae while Mi-rae returns to her place, still thinking about Moo-jin’s story. The next day, Ae-yeon is too shy to meet Moo-jin due to the kiss they share while Mi-rae and Tae-pyeong have suspicious eyes on them.

Elsewhere, Moo-jin succeeds in patching up his friendship with Jae-geol as he shows him how helpful his company had been to him when Moo-jin was broke. On the other hand, Mi-rae is the target of jealous eyes when her senior makes way for her to present the new product that they have come up with. This brings her praise from the CEO who is genuinely impressed by her and is considering a promotion.

Meanwhile, Ae-yeon gets a call regarding more offers to bring her on television, but she requires a portfolio. Moo-jin overhears this and assures the other person that Ae-yeon’s portfolio will be available soon. With this, he heads to get Ae-yeon’s pictures clicked, after which Ae-yeon drags him to the batting cage.

Seeing his forgotten talent, she motivates him to go back to doing what he once loved and live for himself. She hands him a pamphlet about hiring a baseball coach and suggests he begin here. Later, Hyeon-jae welcomes Moo-jin home and presents his business idea to get approval from him. However, Moo-jin rejects him immediately and tells him to join the academy where he has already enrolled Hyeon-jae.

This makes Hyeon-jae believe that Moo-jin never planned to invest in him and just like everyone else, he too doesn’t believe in him. This puts a strain on their relationship as Hyeon-jae doesn’t know what to do. The next day, an anonymous post is circulated on the internet regarding Mi-rae’s relationship with Tae-pyeong and how it is bringing her promotions and opportunities.

The post degrades Mi-rae while ignoring the years of hard work she has put into her career, and talks about how she is only claiming higher due to her relationship with the company’s CEO’s son. This leaves everyone shocked while Mi-rae is stunned and unable to say anything about it.

She goes on with her regular work but is unable to avoid the mocking comments that she overhears from everywhere, Ae-yeon also hears about this and is unable to do anything. Later, she gets drunk and calls Tae-pyeong who takes her home while witnessing the strength that she shows during this tough time.

The next day, her team manager tells them that there will be a team dinner after work. Meanwhile, Tae-pyeong shares his woes about not being able to help Mi-rae during this time with his father. Meanwhile, Ae-yeon is worried for Mi-rae when she runs into Moo-jin and tells him about everything that has happened. Later during the team dinner, the team manager is finally able to ease things for Mi-rae.

Mi-rae and Tae-pyeong apologise for the commotion caused while the others apologise for not defending them earlier. The atmosphere with the team finally eases and the couple walk back to her house. However, they find the CEO there who apologises to Mi-rae and wishes to make the rumours true. He wishes for them to get married and for Mi-rae to enter his family, leaving the two shocked.

Right then, Moo-jin arrives and rejects the idea while turning to Tae-pyeong, blaming him for not doing better. While the CEO holds on for a while, he is unable to bear it for long and begins fighting back with Moo-jin. The two argue about the good and bad about their children and soon get into grabbing each other.

Seeing the fight escalate, Mi-rae and Tae-pyeong are unable to take it any longer and scream at them to stop which finally catches their attention.

Romance in the House Episode 11 Review

The finale weekend has finally begun and we are already off to a good start with many mysteries being revealed while Mi-rae and Tae-pyeong fight a situation which was meant to happen. The highlight though will have to be Moo-jin’s story which had us all intrigued and amused, and we cannot deny that it was quite worth the wait.

Meanwhile, Mi-rae and Tae-pyeong’s situation was quite the predictable route which was meant to happen. The poor girl getting backlashed for dating a rich guy; is one of the most common plots and we hope the result will be different or amusing. While their story may seem predictable, today’s episode showed a relatable side of Hyeon-jae that most children feel themselves.

His hopes in his father truly did crumble, especially since he thought of him as the only person to understand him. Being a part of a female-dominant household, he truly did have more expectations of Moo-jin and seeing this side of his father has been quite harsh on the boy. However, this is a need to help him grow and hopefully, we see him get a good end tomorrow.

Altogether, this has been a good start to the weekend and we hope to see the energy stay high until the end, tomorrow.
