On December 6, Rosé dropped her first studio album “rosie.” The album includes pre-released tracks “APT.,” “number one girl,” and the title track “toxic till the end,” featuring a total of 12 songs that reveal Rosé’s honest and personal stories.
This is her first album since leaving YG Entertainment at the end of last year, and her first solo studio album in 8 years since her debut, which has increased anticipation. It’s also known that Rosé personally participated in writing and composing the songs, making it even more exciting for fans.
Before the album’s release, Rosé shared her nervous excitement on her social media, “In just a few hours, ‘toxic till the end’ and my album are coming out. Can someone pinch me? I’m so excited to share this song, the video, and the album. I hope you all like it.”

Additionally, a like from G-Dragon, a former labelmate under YG Entertainment, on Rosé’s post caught fans’ attention.
BLACKPINK ended their exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment at the end of last year and became independent. Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa established their own individual labels, while Rosé moved to The Black Label to continue her solo activities.
Despite their different paths, the members have consistently supported each other’s endeavors. Rosé’s album release once again highlighted their strong friendship, creating a heartwarming moment and raising anticipation for BLACKPINK’s full group activities scheduled for next year.
