Shin shared her concerns about their age difference too. “At first, I was worried as both of us have some social awkwardness but we got along quickly,” she said.

The actress explained their first meeting and their first impression of each other.

“When we first met, he couldn’t look at me straight in the eye and kept looking down,” she said.

“But even then, he shared his thoughts confidently, and I thought, ‘Oh, he looks interesting.’ We got along faster than I thought.”

Shin also shared that there were times she felt like Moon lied to her about his age.

“There were times I felt like I was the one who lied about my age,” she said and added, “He said things that older people would say, like he would call a camera director a photographer. “

She continued, “He was also surprised I knew old songs.”

Shin revealed that despite the concerns while working with Moon, she is relieved that their age difference has not affected their performance.

“I won’t say I didn’t feel any pressure,” she said.

“I talked to the director about it from the beginning, but the director told me not to worry as no one would care how old the characters are. Since the drama has started, I am relieved the viewers don’t seem to think we have a big age gap.”

‘Cinderella at 2 Am’ premieres every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. on Coupang Play and will later be broadcast at 9:20 p.m. on Channel A.
