Byeon Woo-seok gained widespread popularity through tvN’s “Lovely Runner”, where he played Ryu Sun-jae, the lead vocalist of the band “Eclipse”. The show ended last May, and its OST “Sudden Shower”, sung by Byeon Woo-seok himself, became a sensation, entering domestic music charts and even the Billboard charts.
Fans are thrilled to see Byeon Woo-seok take the exclusive stage at the 2024 MAMA Awards, recognizing his efforts to repay the love he’s received from fans.
The 2024 MAMA Awards recently announced a star-studded lineup of presenters for the event.
On October 28, the organizers revealed that Gong Myung, Kwak Dong-yeon, Kim Min-ha, Kim Hye-jun, Na Young-seok, Dex, Ma Dong-seok, Moon Sang-min, Park Seo-joon, Byeon Woo-seok, Seo In-guk, Seol In-ah, Ahn Jae-hyun, Oh Sang-uk, Lee Joo-bin, Lee Jun-ho, Im Si-wan, Jung Ho-yeon, Jo Yu-ri, Choi Hyun-wook, Hong Jin-kyung and others are expected to attend as presenters.
Presenters on November 22 will include Gong Myung, Kwak Dong-yeon, Kim Min-ha, Byeon Woo-seok, Seo In-guk, Seol In-ah, Ahn Jae-hyun, Lee Ji-ah, Jo Yu-ri, Choi Hyun-wook, Na Young-seok and Hong Jin-kyung.
The awards ceremony will be hosted by actors Park Bo-gum and Kim Tae-ri. Upon hearing the news, Kim Tae-ri shared her excitement, “I deeply respect all the artists, and I look forward to being part of such an incredible gathering.“
The 2024 MAMA Awards will be held on November 21 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and on November 22~23 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. The event will be broadcast live worldwide via Mnet, Mnet Plus, Mnet K-POP and Mnet TV.
