Song Joong Ki confessed that fellow actor Kim Ji Won had a significant impact on his skincare, and despite hating it at first, he now loves to use the gua sha tool.
On a recent segment of Harper’s BAZAAR Korea’s YouTube channel, Song, who still looks young after 15 years in the industry, opened up about his skincare journey with his Fated to Love You co-star Lee Hee Joon.
The actors displayed the contents of their bags during the segment, with Lee exhibiting a massage ball and Song a gua sha.

“I didn’t know a lot about the tool,” Song said. “But actress Kim Ji Won from our agency says they’re great.”
When he tried her recommendation, he was an immediate fan. “I understand the rave about gua shas,” he added.
He added he spends most of his gua sha time on his nose and forehead. He said it helps him feel fresher in the morning.
Along with his gua sha, he also noted that he carries supplements, Omega-3 pills, sheet masks, and sunscreen in his bag. Lee has praised his skincare routine, stating, “Song Joong Ki has no pores!”
The two stars will appear together onscreen in the upcoming Bogota: The Land of the Last Chance, due in theaters on December 31.
