According to a representative from the Mapo Resident Convenience Facility, Song Mino‘s sick leave was due to social phobia, panic disorder and bipolar disorder.
A public service worker manager, identified as A, told Dispatch, “Song Mino is afraid of crowded places. We assigned him to a location where he wouldn’t be noticed by others.”
However, photos obtained by Dispatch reveal a different story. Song Mino was seen traveling to areas like Goseong and Yangyang in Gangwon-do, enjoying camping and parties.
In August 2023, Song Mino attended a DJ party at a popular café in Goseong, Gangwon-do. At the time, he was working for the Mapo Facility Management Corporation’s parking business team.
His leisure activities appeared highly social. His hairstyle remained long throughout his service. His attire? Shorts and no shirt. Shirtless, he roamed the party venue freely.
Most noticeable were his tattoos: “Correct Posture” etched on his left shoulder blade, “Clear Mind” on his right shoulder blade and “PLAY BOY” inscribed on his waist.
A party attendee told Dispatch, “Song Mino drank alcohol, smoked and enjoyed the party. There was no sign of social phobia or panic disorder.”
Song Mino’s selective social phobia also appeared in his hobbies. It was reported that he was working out with a “running crew” ahead of his discharge from the military.
A member of the crew informed Dispatch, “We run marathons together with Song Mino. Recently, he even completed a 20-kilometer run. He’s lost a lot of weight.”
Indeed, Song Mino has been focused on his comeback. A representative from the Resident Convenience Facility shared, “Song Mino has been losing weight through running and building his physique through personal training.”
Meanwhile, allegations of Song Mino’s improper service have been referred to the police. On December 23rd, the Military Manpower Administration requested an investigation by the Mapo Police Station. Song Mino has been booked as a suspect.
The police are expected to examine evidence such as CCTV footage, entry and exit records, gaming logs, communication location data and statements from facility staff to determine whether there was any misconduct during his service.
