The revelation came during the show aired on May 13 KST, where Soyou shared intimate details of her battle with panic attacks.

Soyou recalled the challenging times she faced while managing panic attacks amidst her hectic schedule in the past.

She confessed, “I suffered from really severe panic attacks. I barely remember anything about the ‘Lean on Me’ promotions. It’s all a blur because I was heavily reliant on medication.”

Her honest admission sheds light on the toll that mental health struggles can take, even on individuals in the public eye.

Despite the hardships she endured, Soyou also discussed her journey towards recovery and her current coping mechanisms for stress. She emphasized the importance of finding joy in life, stating:

“Nowadays, I focus on having fun. I make it a point to go on a trip at least once a year. When I travel, I let go of all my worries and just enjoy myself.”
