Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun will appear in the spin-off drama of the highly expected show Spice Up Our Love, which is a prequel of the original series, No Gain No Love. The drama, which was confirmed before the original series was aired in August 26, is set to premiere on October 3.
TVING’s Spice Up Our Love is a fantasy romance drama centered around Nam Ja Yeon, a girl who writes steamy novels that her readers enjoy reading in secret. However, the people close to the main character also know about her novels, which have gained popularity and even inspired their granddaughter.
After both spouses suffered, Nam Ja Yeon found herself in the world of the female protagonist of the girl’s stories – Seo Yeon Seo, who manipulates men just as her creator portrays.
A romantic encounter with the main character will unexpectedly compel her to relinquish her unrestricted freedom with men.

The spin-off is based on the original web novel, The CEO’s Meal Plan. In this prequel, Nam Ja Yeon’s counterpart lacks dating experience, while Lee Sang Yi’s character, Bok Gyu Hyun, struggles to take care of himself due to his father’s indulgences.
“The prequel is relevant because it aims to further develop the relationship to the willow in the original performance. The scriptwriters explained with enthusiasm that they will be introducing something entirely new. Despite a mistake, I believe it will appeal to a wider range of drama fans when it hits the screens.”
While waiting for the premiere of the Spice Up Our Love, you can watch Han Ji Hyun in “Cheer Up” and Lee Sang Yi in “Youth Of May.”
