Tang Wei and Kim Tae-yong’s “Wonderland” Tops Box Office for 3 Consecutive Days

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network for movie ticket sales on June 8th, “Wonderland” attracted an additional 66,840 viewers the previous day, keeping its number one spot for three days in a row. The cumulative number of viewers has reached 297,845.

“Wonderland” is a story about reuniting with a departed family member or lover via video call. Directed by Kim Tae-yong, this project marks the first collaboration between director Kim and Chinese actress Tang Wei since their marriage in 2014, and their second project together after the 2010 film “Late Autumn”. The film also stars Park Bo-gum, former Miss A member Suzy, Jung Yu-mi and Choi Woo-sik.

In second place is “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”, which drew 45,613 viewers the previous day, bringing its total to 1,276,315 viewers. “Following” is in third place with 22,539 viewers and a cumulative total of 1,063,314 viewers.
