In this episode, Kim Hae-il (Kim Nam-gil) released Bul Jang-eo (Jang Ji-geon)’s gang, raising the tension as he discovered that the martial arts experts he faced were professional assassins trained in Lao martial arts. He began investigating the lizard tattoo on the arm, uncovering that the Busan drug cartel had connections extending to Southeast Asia and that their boss was a figure referred to as “The Chairman”. Meanwhile, Goo Ja-young (Kim Hyeong-seo) used the National Intelligence Service’s “face search system” to track down the fugitives’ identities.

While searching for information about the Laotian lizard tattoo, Kim Hae-il contacted Song Sac (Ahn Chang-hwan), whose mother was from Laos. Hae-il then ordered Oh Yo-han (Ko Kyu-pil) to head to Busan with this information. Simultaneously, Kim Hong-shik (Sung Joon) informed Nam Doo-heon (Seo Hyun-woo) that the person he fought was actually a guest priest at Uma Church, heightening the suspense. Goo Ja-young suggested tracing the collection routine of corrupt police officers. Together with Kim Hae-il and Goo Dae-young (Kim Sung-kyun), they launched a raid, capturing members of the gang smuggling anesthetic cream, leaving a strong impression on Nam Doo-heon.
