Born into an impoverished single-parent household with nothing but his good looks and charm, Kang In-ha is ravenous for success. Determined to make something of himself, no matter the cost, Inha discovers that his father is the chairman of the hugely successful Kangoh Group and leaves his life of poverty behind.

Shunned by the rest of his new family, Inha partners with his intellectually gifted friend Han Tae-oh, hatching a plan from a young age to take over the company and seize their spots at the top of society. Realizing success early on, the pair steadily begin their ascent until an equally ambitious woman with a similarly troubled past threatens to derail their plans forever.

Lee Jae Wook (Alchemy of Souls, Extraordinary You) portrays Han Tae-oh, Inha’s sharp-minded childhood friend; Lee Jun Young (Mask Girl, May I Help You) plays Kang In-ha, the illegitimate son of the chairman of the Kangoh Group; and Hong Su Zu (Lovestruck in the City) as Na Hye-won, an ambitious woman with a troubled past and aspirations of a bright future,

The Impossible Heir is written by Choi Won (Roman Holiday) and is directed by Min Yun-hong (Missing: The Other Side, Insider).

Meet The Impossible Heir Trio

Accordingly, the young actors were able to form a bond by having a meal and going to a pension house with director Min Yeon-hong before filming began.

They also share stories about the series.

Lee Jae Wook voiced out the chemistry with actors Lee Jun Young and Hong Su Zu.

We share so many concerns that it’s difficult to talk about just one.

Guaranteeing the synergy they created, Lee Jun Young expressed affection for his costars.

When I looked into the eyes of Lee Jae-wook and Hong Soo-joo, I was able to concentrate well on my acting. The chemistry on set was very good, and it was even better to meet good people.

Hong Su Zu reassures how their connection is evident in the series.

I hope you can see the evident synergy among us. It is one of the watching points of the series.

Director Min explains the behind-the-scenes story of how a special relationship between the minor leaguers was created through the cast members’ maximized chemistry.

I hoped that they would quickly become friends with each other and act more comfortably. After casting, we gathered at a pension separate from the meal and read the script several times. We got along well with each other’s personalities and quickly became friends, so I had no worries. It was nice to see them creating a fun atmosphere on set while also caring for and leading each other in terms of acting.
