The Judge from Hell Episode 4 Review: Bit-na’s Judgment and Da-on’s Wish to Know Her!

The Judge from Hell Episode 4 brings justice to the little boy while Bit-na slowly begins to understand her feelings towards a certain human. Will she be able to confront them or will she hide from the boys?

The Judge from Hell Episode 4 Recap

The episode opens with a peak into what happened before the events of Bit-na luring Ja-yeong to the place of her judgment. The day before, Da-on tells Bit-na that he will no longer trouble her and with his goodbyes, he leaves. However, Bit-na is unable to accept this sudden farewell and finds it hard to take it easily.

Later, when out with her fellow hell mates, the topic of love with a human pops up and it is known that the punishment for feeling human emotions is death. But Bit-na denies feeling any such emotions. The next day, we see Ja-yeong at her mother-in-law’s house trying to get the child back but the old woman is not ready to let her do as she wishes.

Ja-yeong is not ready to let go of the child so easily and finds a way to drug the old woman so that she can take the child with her. After she succeeds in putting the old woman to sleep and scares the child into following her back. Elsewhere, Da-on is at the police station when he suddenly gets a call from the child who calls out to him for help.

He first rushes to Ja-gyeong’s house but finds no one, he then gets a call informing him that the child is at a nearby public booth. He hurries there to find the child in drenched clothes and shivering in the cold while waiting for him. Turns out that earlier that day, Ja-yeong got a call from someone claiming to have evidence of her murdering her husband and she rushed there while leaving the child in the bathtub.

While she warns the child to not leave, he knows that this is the only chance that he has and rushes out. He calls Da-on as he had given him his number during his last visit and he is the only person he can trust. Elsewhere, Ja-yeong arrives at the location she was asked to come which is the place where her husband died.

Suddenly, she sees a car coming out of the water depths and is scared. As the car dashes towards her before stopping just some distance from her, she is surprised to see Bit-na coming out of the car. While she understands that Bit-na has tricked her into coming there, she is unable to understand the fear creeping into her as Bit-na stands there with her knife out.

Bit-na doesn’t wait for long before asking about the child only to have Ja-yeong lie to her which irks her further. Bit-na then asks about the growth of her husband and if she feels guilty for what she has done. But seeing as her target is someone without any remorse, Bit-na doesn’t wait for long before starting her punishment.

She throws the woman into the same situation as her husband who died of drawing and lets her feel what he felt. After this little trial, she proceeds to ask about Ja-yeong’s ex-husband and finds out that she had planned his fall so that she would get what she wanted. Upon confirming that her target fits in with the criteria of those who need to be sent to hell, she proceeds to have Ja-yeong go through every abuse she once inflicted on the child.

Finally, after rounds of torture, she brings an end to Ja-yeong’s life with a stab in her abdomen and the Gehenna mark engraved on her forehead. Following this, she tells the clean-up squad to put the body in a bag in front of the police station where Da-on works. She does this in an attempt to get a reaction out of Da-on, who has not been in contact since that night.

Later, she gets a call from her boss’ office and heads there to meet a VIP who is none other than the person who would have been her father-in-law. He invites her for dinner and with an eagerness for some information about her past, she promises to be there. In the evening, the father-son duo are shocked by Bit-na’s behavior but let it slide as the man slowly talks into the project that is hanging due to the villa in which she is living.

She feigns innocence about the same but doesn’t say much as she is still contemplating their intentions. Soon, the night comes to an end as she leaves the duo wondering how bad the trauma must have been. The next day, her wait for Da-on finally comes to an unexpected end. She is brought in front of him where he questions her as a suspect for the recently going on murder cases.

Da-on asks her if she was the one behind the murder but Bit-na subtly denies it while keeping a straight face. After the intense interrogation, Bit-na has Dao-on take her back home and tries her best to repeat past actions to get some reaction out of him. Upon reaching home, she tries to continue talking about the matter when the fortune teller lady from her building warns Da-on to stay away from Bit-na.

Bit-na is annoyed at him and goes along with it before heading inside. Meanwhile, Da-on gains the company of his friends out of nowhere and enjoys a nice evening with them. The next day, Da-on goes to the crime sight where he sees a cola can that is crushed like Bit-na’s, resulting in growing suspicions.

Elsewhere, Bit-na receives a gift from the child who helped draw a picture of her. Holding onto her straight face, she melts inside and asks for someone from heaven. She prepares a special gift for the child as she gets someone to dress up as a postman and deliver a letter from his father to him.

The child cries tears of joy while promising to take care of his grandmother and their family. Elsewhere, Bit-na is relaxing at home when she is lured to open the door by the landlord’s food. However, she finds out that someone has moved across her door and it is none other than Han Da-on.

Upon seeing him, she is happy until suddenly, her heart begins to hurt and she falls to her knees before losing consciousness

The Judge from Hell Episode 4 Review

Park Shin-hye is back to steal our hearts and with her mind-numbing performance in these episodes is already letting my imagination run wild. While she is stealing the show, another heartthrob is also paving his way as Han Do-an. This deadly combination is already bringing amazement to us viewers, and we are only excited for what is to come next.

Meanwhile, the indications of an ill-fated love between the two are definitely not subtle about it being heartbreaking. They are surely to experience some very chaotic days ahead and we are ready to see the show.
