As actor Jung Woo-sung faces public scrutiny over his alleged love child scandal, his past remarks on a variety show have resurfaced, adding fuel to the heated discussion. Fans, who admired his charismatic persona and striking looks, have expressed a deep sense of betrayal.
On November 25, it was officially confirmed that Jung Woo-sung is the father of a son born to model Moon Ga-bi. Following this revelation, screenshots from Jung’s 2012 appearance on the MBC program Knee-Drop Guru began circulating in online communities such as Fomos.
During his guest appearance on Knee-Drop Guru, Jung Woo-sung captivated viewers by displaying his hidden comedic talents, effortlessly engaging with hosts Kang Ho-dong, Yoo Se-yoon, and Kwanghee. His performance left audiences in stitches, showcasing a side of him rarely seen.
One segment, the “Handsome World Cup,” featured Jung evaluating the most handsome actors of the next generation, including Kang Dong-won, So Ji-sub, Jang Dong-gun, Won Bin, Hyun Bin, Kim Soo-hyun, Song Joong-ki, and Jo In-sung. While admitting the pressure of naming a successor, Jung eventually chose Won Bin as the top contender, smiling fondly at his photo.
Jung Woo-sung and Moon Ga-bi reportedly became close after meeting at an event in 2022. Moon Ga-bi announced her pregnancy in June last year and gave birth in March 2024.
According to Ten Asia, Jung and Moon have recently met to discuss issues related to their child’s upbringing and potential marriage but were unable to reach an agreement. Moon reportedly wishes to marry for the sake of their child, but Jung remains firmly opposed to the idea.
