Model Moon Gabi (35) has become a mother. In March, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The baby’s nickname was given by none other than actor Jung Woo-sung (51), who is the father.
Moon and Jung first met in 2022 at a social gathering where they exchanged greetings. They stayed in touch and grew closer over time.
In June of last year, Moon revealed her pregnancy to Jung, who was overjoyed by the news and promised to take responsibility for raising the child.
According to Dispatch, Jung personally gave the baby his nickname. The two worked together to prepare for the baby’s arrival, discussing hospitals and postpartum care.
Although their relationship was not based on plans for marriage, both embraced the new life with joy and committed to doing their best in their respective roles.
Jung Woo-sung’s representative stated, “He learned about the pregnancy last year and was determined to protect the precious life. As a father, he will provide all possible support.”
On November 22, Moon announced the birth of her son to the world. To celebrate her birthday, she shared a photo of herself holding the baby, calling him a “gift.”
She wrote on social media, “As a mother, I’ve taken a brave step to enjoy a simpler happiness. I promise to be a healthy mother filled with love and joy.”

While Moon Gabi wanted to get married and start their life as a family together, Jung Woo Sung was strongly against the idea of marriage, instead sharing that he would do his best to help parent while being at a distance. Insiders who reported this to Tenasia believed this conflict was triggered by Moon Gabi revealing her baby to the world through her Instagram post.
Jung Woo Sung and Moon Gabi had met several times in the past, but according to Tenasia, they never officially dated. No one publicly knows how the two met, with a rumor that another actor introduced the two together debunked by Tenasia when they investigated it. It is rumored that the two would communicate often through Instagram DMs.
Shortly after one of their meetings, Moon Gabi informed Jung Woo Sung she was pregnant. Jung Woo Sung took a paternity test, which confirmed it was his child. He accepted the test results but did not want to actively parent. Instead, he paid for child-support and childbirth related expenses.
