: They are set to debut on the 22nd. The title track is called “O.O,” and it’s surprising that they’re already pulling out a self-replication of TT’s concept right from the start. They’re also introducing a new genre called “mix-pop,” which feels very similar to the media play that was done when TWICE’s Like Ooh-Ahh came out. It makes you wonder if this company is constantly focused on finding a replacement for TWICE.
: There seemed to be quite a bit of talk about how pretty the members looked before their debut content started coming out, but now that the teasers have begun, they don’t really look as striking, maybe due to poor photography. The trailer video has a confusing concept, like a mix of LOONA and Street Woman Fighter, and it’s already causing mixed reactions. The opening video, which acts as an introduction, looks almost identical in format to ENHYPEN’s album release intro video, making it seem like they have no pride in originality. Fans seem to have been hoping for pretty, fresh, princess-like members, but the video emphasizes an overly tough image, similar to ITZY, which left some fans feeling disappointed.
: Within the fandom, one piece of content that’s getting a positive response is the surprise live video from Weekly Idol. It was just a clip where fans could see the members’ faces without any flashy production, which felt like the kind of introduction they had been waiting for. However, even here, there’s growing concern that none of the members stand out as a clear center, which is a big deal. The recent rookie teams that have been receiving good reactions all seem to have a reason. STAYC’s average visual level isn’t easy to come by, and IVE’s clear Wonyoung-Yujin center duo is rare. With TWICE, opinions on who’s the prettiest may vary depending on taste, but Nayeon undeniably held the “juicy” charm as the center. In contrast, it seems that NMIXX hasn’t effectively conveyed anything beyond just having a mix/pile of members.
