K-drama villain Uhm Ki Joon surprised fans with his marriage announcement over social media.

In a lengthy yet sweet handwritten letter, the actor revealed that he is set to marry the love of his life. He began his message by greeting his followers and the JEKYLLI, his fan club name.

The actor also expressed his gratitude to fans who have shown their support, saying that he is thankful for the “consistent love” that his supporters are giving.

“I feel sorry that I have only been receiving your love, as I am clumsy about expressing my feelings. Recently, seeing how happy and joyful you all were when we met for the first time in a while gave me so much strength, and it was a grateful time for me.”

Uhm Ki Joon to Get Married in December

Uhm Ki Joon then revealed the purpose of writing a handwritten letter. According to him, he wanted to tell the fans first before it came out in the news.

“I thought finding a lifelong partner was something that wouldn’t happen for me. However, I have met someone who is warm-hearted and considerate, and I plan to start a new life by getting married to this person.”

The actor confessed that he had some apprehensions and was “worried” that the news might surprise JEKYLLI.

Lastly, he ended the post with a warm message of gratitude to his fans and promised to continue to do his best to repay the love that the JEKYLLI have shown him.

According to a report, Uhm Ki Joon’s fiancee is a non-showbiz personality; hence, he doesn’t mention details about his bride-to-be.

As for the upcoming wedding, the couple is set to tie the knot in December and will be held privately along with their respective family, relatives, and close acquaintances.
