TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Huening Kai) spoke at a press conference on November 3rd, hosted at Seoul’s KSPO DOME just before their encore concert for the “TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <ACT: PROMISE>”.
HYBE has faced intense backlash following the leak of internal documents that surfaced online, with disparaging remarks about various popular K-pop acts from other agencies. These documents referenced groups and idols like RIIZE, aespa, Stray Kids, NCT DREAM and BLACKPINK, fueling public criticism and sparking heated discussion among netizens.
During the press conference, Soobin acknowledged the impact of the controversy, explaining that despite the surrounding challenges, the group has remained focused on their new album and ongoing tour. When questioned about the issue, he highlighted the group’s dedication to their work:
“We’ve been touring for more than six months since May, and during that period, we’ve also dedicated a lot of time to working on our new album. Honestly, despite everything going on around us, our main focus has stayed on preparing for the album and upcoming concerts.”
He reassured fans that TXT is committed to delivering their best performances, asking for their continued support through the difficult period for HYBE artists:
“Just as we always have, we’ll keep pushing forward and give our all, showcasing everything we’ve prepared and all that we’re capable of, without holding anything back. We hope you’re excited for what’s to come.”
Meanwhile, TXT’s seventh mini-album “The Name Chapter: SANCTUARY” is set to drop on November 4th at 6 PM on all major streaming platforms, marking a significant comeback in the midst of HYBE’s ongoing controversy.
