A model influencer living in Korea will appear as a storyteller on KBS JOY’s “Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller” Episode 297, which will air on December 23.
The storyteller’s love for K-pop brought her to Korea in 2018 for a trip, and she officially moved in 2021 to pursue a modeling career and build a life in Korea.
With over 6 million followers on Instagram and about 13 million on TikTok, she confessed her struggles with finding genuine friendships. She mentioned that most people around her only see her fame as an opportunity for content creation, leaving her feeling isolated.
Interestingly, she learned Korean through interactions with taxi drivers and sauna attendants. She also recounted how, during her first visit to Korea, she saw elderly people walking barefoot in a park, which piqued her curiosity. After trying it herself, she felt healthier and thought it made her face look better, so she continued the practice.
She also shared that she visits Korean traditional medicine clinics for cupping therapy and enjoys eating “XXX”, a statement that surprised Lee Soo-geun, who joked, “You’re living like someone in their 50s!“
When asked by Lee Soo-geun about anything that amazed her in Korea, she replied, “I can’t understand how people wear slippers and drink iced Americanos in the middle of winter.” Seo Jang-hoon humorously responded “Iced Americano is Korea’s signature drink“, causing laughter in the studio.
