On December 2, YG Entertainment posted the video “TREASURE NEWS & 2025 YG PLAN | YG Announcement” on their official YouTube channel. YG’s general producer, Yang Hyun-suk, revealed TREASURE’s upcoming comeback schedule and other active plans for 2025.
TREASURE’s new digital single, titled “LAST NIGHT,” is set to be released on December 5. Yang Hyun-suk unveiled a detailed promotion plan, which includes the pre-release of this track, followed by a mini-album in February next year and a full album in July-August.
In particular, Yang Hyun-suk said, “TREASURE will be showing a somewhat unique concept, different than before.”
He added, “This time, we are dialing back the intensity, allowing for the expression of these guys’ honest emotions and creating music that can reach you all in a more comfortable way.”
Big changes are coming for TREASURE. Starting January 1, 2025, Junkyu and Asahi will take over as team leaders from Choi Hyunsuk and Park Jihoon. The leadership will switch every 2-3 years, a system suggested by the members to make the group more creative and unique.
TREASURE is also planning to connect with as many fans around the world as they can. They will hold a special event in March and later, in October, they will start a world tour. This tour will not only visit Asia but also other regions around the globe, giving TREASURE the chance to meet more fans worldwide.
Meanwhile, Yang Hyun-suk shared plans for other YG artists, including world tours for BABYMONSTER, WINNER, AKMU, and BLACKPINK.
He also hinted at new group debuts, “There are quite a number of trainees that are waiting for their debut. As for the specific debut dates, I will provide further details at a later time.”
