According to the Good Data Corporation’s Findex, Netflix’s “Culinary Class War” has topped the TV-OTT integrated non-drama popularity survey for six consecutive weeks, retaining first place in both news and Voice Of Netizen (VON) categories. “Running Man” cast member An Seong-jae ranked second in non-drama participant popularity, while Baek Jong-won came in fifth.
Coupang Play’s “SNL Korea Season 6” was second overall, followed by ENA/SBS Plus’s “I Am SOLO” in third, which saw a 19.2% popularity increase from the previous week. tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” placed fourth, boosted by appearances from 2NE1 and Lee Soo-ji, with 2NE1 ranking third among non-drama participants.
Mnet’s “Stage Fighter” secured fifth place, while Tving’s “RAP:PUBLIC” and Channel A’s “Steel Troops” followed in sixth and seventh. MBC’s “I Live Alone,” SBS’s “Running Man,” and JTBC’s “A Clean Sweep” occupied the eighth to tenth spots.
Yulhee topped non-drama participant popularity due to her appearance on “I Am Now Alone,” where her sudden divorce became a hot topic. Go Joon-hee from “SNL Korea Season 6” ranked fourth, followed by Jung Dae-se, Ryu Soo-young, Kim Eui-sung, and Baek Seong-hyun in the sixth to tenth positions.
The rankings, covering programs aired or scheduled between October 21 and October 27, 2024, were based on a survey analyzing news articles, VON, videos, and netizen reactions, achieving over 97% accuracy after filtering out unrelated data and attempts to inflate scores.
