On X, the fan who met the K-pop icon for “Yul’s Night” shared some the interesting topics they had shared, including inquiries about the comeback of Girls’ Generation.

The quintet made their debut in 2018 with the single album, “Lil’ Touch” and their last release was with “Melody,” a special track for 2021 SMTOWN’s Winter: SMCU Express.

Hearing this, Yuri revealed that a follow-up release would be difficult since one of its members Sunny, already left SM Entertainment.

She also expressed regret that a full choreography video for “Lil’ Touch” was not filmed, aside from the scenes in the MV, as most of them were sick at that moment. Yuri added that they couldn’t tell fans the reason before as she knows SONEs would be sad and feel sorry about it.

However, Yuri attested to the fans that they will be seeing them as a group soon through a full comeback to commemorate their 20th debut anniversary!

The idol attested and said:

“But we will be coming back on our 20th anniversary! We can just meet then!”

As this will happen in 2027 yet, the fan asked if they could just have a new release this year and the upcoming years. However, Yuri shared optimism by adding:

“Hey guys! Time really passes by in the blink of an eye, right? Next year is the 18th, the following year is the 19th and it will be our 20th.”

In the meantime, fans can enjoy SNSD members’ respective individual activities as singers, actresses, and entertainers.
