During the interview, Yuri then showed her affection for Girls’ Generation even while doing her solo activities, saying:

“When I was active in Girls’ Generation, I was able to recover even if I didn’t care much about people. I felt a lighter sense of responsibility since it was divided by one-eighth.

“But in a turbulent world full of storms and waves, deep-rooted trees are bound to be shaken. Amid this, Girls’ Generation is a source of pride and self-esteem that helps us to maintain our balance despite being shaken.

We experienced many difficult times while being a member of the Girls’ Generation, and there were times when I questioned whether it would help us completely on the path that we wanted to take.

As time went by, I came to think that Girls’ Generation was a huge benefit that would never be an interference for a single moment and could only help.”
