Today (October 4), BLACKPINK’s Lisa release released her new single “Moonlit Floor” through music streaming sites around the world at 9 AM in Korean time.
“Moonlit Floor” samples the 1990s hit “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer, reinterpreted through Lisa’s dreamy vocals and rap lines.
In particular, “Moonlit Floor” was recently unveiled for the first time at the ‘Global Citizen Festival’ held in New York’s Central Park, USA. Lisa, who was selected as the headliner for the show, performed “ROCKSTAR”, “NEW WOMAN”, “Lalisa”, and “Money” in succession, receiving a hot response from the live audience as well as fans around the world.
Previously, Lisa fired the starting signal for her global activities with her first single, “ROCKSTAR,” released after signing a partnership with RCA Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music in the U.S. last April.
“ROCKSTAR” proved the female idol’s influence by topping the Billboard Global Excl. US chart and ranking 4th on Billboard’s “Global 200” weekly chart as soon as it was released.
Additionally, Lisa’s “ROCKSTAR,” which ranked 8th on the Spotify Global Daily Chart in the United States and performed well on charts in over 20 countries around the world, won the “Best K-Pop” category at the “MTV Video Music Awards,” one of the four major music awards ceremonies in the United States, making her the first K-Pop solo artist to win multiple trophies.
In addition to her music career, Lisa has also been active in the fashion industry as an ambassador for Bulgari and Louis Vuitton, and she is about to make her screen debut as an actress. She is set to appear in season 3 of the HBO original series ‘The White Lotus’ and is currently filming in her hometown of Thailand.

Recently, BLACKPINK’s Lisa surprised fans with a second look to promote her solo comeback titled ROCKSTAR. In the released photo, she showcases a striking concept with a “wolf cut” hairstyle, tanned skin, sharp expressions, and an intense gaze directly at the camera, exuding an irresistible allure.
Lisa’s elegance is further enhanced by luxurious accessories, including large earrings, silver nails, rings, and bracelets that create a dazzling effect.
Within just 12 hours of being posted, Lisa’s photo garnered over 5 million likes and tens of thousands of comments, all raving about her new look. Among those captivated was her fellow BLACKPINK member and close friend, Rosé.
In particular, Rosé went directly to Lisa’s personal Instagram page, liking the post and commenting with a heart-on-fire emoji and a shocked face emoji. Despite knowing each other for over 10 years, Rosé was evidently astonished by Lisa’s stunning transformation.
