BTS’s Suga Receive Death Threat from Fan in Korea

On October 20, BTS’s Suga became a victim of the “funeral flower wreath” protests, as various wreaths were placed in front of the HYBE headquarters.

The wreaths, which takes up the entire front of the building, demand for BTS’s Suga to leave the group after being fined for drunk-driving back in August.

The protest even took a step up from the “funeral flower wreath” protest previously done to former RIIZE member Seunghan, who departed from the group due to strong fan opposition despite SM Entertainment initially stating that he will return.

In particular, this time, there are guards around the wreaths to prevent people from removing or meddling with them.

As the situation escalated, a fan from Korea claimed that they were behind the flower wreaths, claiming that they hired people to protect the wreaths.

“You don’t know what I can do to Yoongi (real name of BTS’s Suga)”, said fan also stated, before adding a frightening death threat of “Do you think I can’t kill Yoongi?”

The fan then also went on live to claim that they will kill BTS’s Suga, before turning off the live and deleting all previous posts.

As the fan’s location is in Korea, many netizens are showing concerns over Suga’s safety and asking for others to send reports to HYBE so that the company will take appropriate measures to protect their artists.
