After touring for about 4 months across 7 cities, Kim Soo-hyun brought his spectacular Asia tour “EYES ON YOU” to a close with a final fan meeting at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium on October 19.
The fan meeting kicked off with performances of OST “Love You With All My Heart” from his recent drama “Queen of Tears” and OST “Dreaming” from his first leading work “Dream High” (2011). Throughout the event, Kim Soo-hyun engaged fans with his charismatic wit, sharing everything from behind-the-scenes stories of his Asia tour to exclusive insights about “Queen of Tears.” To mark his first Seoul fan meeting in a decade, he prepared an array of special events, including interactive quizzes, games, and exclusive gifts for his devoted fans.
In what essentially became a full-fledged concert, Kim Soo-hyun showcased his versatility by performing an impressive lineup of 15 songs. The well-curated setlist, which seamlessly blended various genres from ballads to rock, pop, and even trot, drew enthusiastic responses from the audience. The 190-minute spectacular event was further elevated by a live band accompaniment that perfectly complemented Kim Soo-hyun’s proven vocal abilities, along with stunning stage directing.
As this marked the final stop of his 2024 Asia tour, fans prepared their own surprise events that left Kim Soo-hyun visibly moved. When presented with heartfelt messages such as “South Korea is blessed to have Kim Soo-hyun,” “We’ve been here for 10 years, and we’ll watch over you for 50 more,” “Happy to be Kim Soo-hyun’s fan,” and “Let’s be together every day, every moment,” the actor was brought to tears before responding with a heartfelt “I love you, everyone.” He then treated fans to emotional encore performances, personally singing OST “Way Home” from “Queen of Tears”, followed by OST “Only You, My Love” from “The Moon Embracing The Sun”.
Having spent 2024 connecting with his global fanbase through the Asia tour, Kim Soo-hyun revealed his next project, Disney+ series “Knock Off,” indicating an equally busy 2025 ahead. “Knock Off” follows the journey of a man whose life is dramatically altered by the IMF crisis, chronicling his transformation from an ordinary office worker into the king of the global counterfeit market. Kim Soo-hyun is set to portray the role of Kim Sung-joon, the ruler of the counterfeit world.
