Rosé Reveals BLACKPINK’s Future Plans: “We’ve Agreed to Spend a Year Pursuing Individual Goals Before Reuniting”

In a recent interview, BLACKPINK’s Rosé opened up about the group’s current direction and their decision to take a year off to focus on personal projects before reuniting as a group. Having worked together for over a decade, Rosé acknowledged the challenges but emphasized that this was the right time for the members to explore their individual paths.

When asked about why now is the ideal time for solo endeavors, Rosé explained, “After a year-long world tour with BLACKPINK, we’ve been working non-stop. We’ve stood by each other through it all, and with the release of several new songs, it feels like the perfect time for us to seek new inspiration. Beyond being performers, we are also creators, and this time allows us to focus on ourselves and grow individually.”

She went on to share that all four members of BLACKPINK are in agreement on this approach. “The four of us made a promise to dedicate a whole year to pursue what we each want. Then, we’ll come back together, stronger. What’s beautiful is that we all agreed on this decision wholeheartedly.”

Rosé’s candid comments reflect the strength of BLACKPINK’s bond, as the group remains united despite embarking on individual paths. She added, “I feel really fortunate. Sometimes it’s about timing, and I’m grateful we’ve all matured enough to know what we truly want at this moment. It makes me really happy.”
