According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Insitute’s big data analysis of idol individual brand reputation in December 2024, BLACKPINK’s Rosé achieved No.1, followed by BIGBANG’s G-Dragon in second place and aespa’s Karina in third place.
The brand reputation rankings are created through brand big data analysis that measures consumers’ online habits that influence brand consumption. Through this analysis, it is possible to notice positive-negative evaluations of idols’ individual brands, media interest, consumers’ interest, and communication frequency.
As a result, TOP 30 Idols’ Individual Brand Reputation Rankings in December 2024 included BLACKPINK’s Rosé, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, aespa’s Karina, IVE’s Jang Won-young, BTS’s Jin, ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo, BTS’s Jungkook, BTS’s Jimin, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, IVE’s Ahn Yu-jin, TWICE’s Nayeon, Red Velvet’s Irene, aespa’s Winter, Seventeen’s Hoshi, Red Velvet’s Joy, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Seventeen’s Wonwoo, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, The Boyz’s Jooyeon, BTS’s RM, Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, Seventeen’s Jun, aespa’s Giselle, Seventeen’s Mingyu, Seventeen’s Jeonghan, BTS’s V, EXO’s Baekhyun, aespa’s NingNing, BIGBANG’s Taeyang and IVE’s Liz.
Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Insitute, said, “Dominating the first place of the 2024 December Idols’ Individual Brand Reputation Rankings, BLACKPINK’s Rosé brand showed the most results with ‘participate’, ‘confess’, and ‘record’ in the link analysis as well as ‘apt.’, ‘rosie’, and ‘birthday’ in the keyword analysis. Rosé also gained a positive ratio of 93.28%”.
