aespa is currently in an incredibly busy period with their second global tour titled Synk: Parallel Line. This tour promotes their first full-length album Armageddon in various countries, including South Korea, China, Thailand, Australia, Indonesia, and more.
However, what the company has provided for their “beloved” artists has left fans furious. Recently, aespa’s fans shared numerous photos showing Winter sitting in an exhausted state at the airport.
This is a rare sight for top-tier K-pop idols, who are typically provided with a waiting room by their management. Yet, in this instance, Winter had to sit and wait for her flight, visibly tired, among the public.

These images left Winter’s fans and aespa’s fandom feeling heartbroken.
This is not the only time SM has treated their artists this way. On September 4th, Jaehyun, a member of NCT 127, was also spotted lying on a bench and sleeping in an airport’s public waiting area, shedding the idol image.
The reality for Jaehyun (NCT 127) and Winter (Aespa) has angered fans, who feel SM is neglecting their artists and not providing proper care. Many are also concerned that waiting in a public area like a regular person could expose them to dangerous situations, especially from sasaeng fans (overly obsessive fans) behaving inappropriately.
