BLACKPINK’s Lisa Honestly Comments on Her Lack of Privacy

Recently, BLACKPINK’s Lisa appeared in a Rolling Stone video together with famous pop star Tyla. Here, the female idol mentioned the topic of privacy – which every celebrity eventually face, especially when it comes to spaces with strong fan cultures like K-pop. 

In particular, Lisa start by telling Tyla, “I would say there’s no privacy like you can tell right now with you as well”

She then went on to describe the lack of privacy she has been facing, saying, “If you go somewhere, people are going to just like put the phone right in front of your face and sometimes, you’re not ready to be taking the photos.”

Lisa also expressed her wish to have normal casual times, joking, “Sometimes, you want to be barefaced with pajamas, go out and eat.”

Nevertheless, Lisa acknowledged that the lack of privacy is a trade-off when it comes to being popular, adding, “That’s the thing that is a little tough for me sometimes, but I’m more happy that they notice me.”

Hearing Lisa’s words, many netizens express sympathy, adding that as much as Lisa tries to be mindful of fans and interact with them, people should respect Lisa as well.
