Chef Jung Ji-sun commented, “I felt he was consistently the same. He has a warmth that makes it worthwhile to learn passion from one human to another.” Ahn Yu-seong said “He played the most prominent role on ‘Culinary Class Wars’. That’s why it seems to have become a global program. I personally respect him” and joked, “I have to say this for Chef Baek Jong-won to invite me. I still haven’t appeared on his YouTube channel.” He added, “Through ‘Culinary Class Wars’, I learned the rules of survival. I realized that I must always think ahead.”

Chef Ahn also mentioned the time when he was released during a team mission. He revealed, “At that time, I hadn’t slept for two days due to time pressure. The production team provided accommodations, and other teams rested, but we worked continuously without sleeping for two days.

Reflecting on how he coped during that challenging period, he said, “In the early hours, I went outside to get some air and looked at a photo of my late mother to keep myself mentally strong. I didn’t want my daughter to see me like that, so I told her not to watch the episode. But she texted me saying ‘I’m so happy to be your daughter. You are amazing, Dad’, which really moved me.” He added humorously, “That’s how you deliver both emotion and laughter in one go.”

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that “Culinary Class Wars” will return for a second season, continuing the trend of popular cooking shows. The show captured global viewers with its unique and intense survival missions, described as a thrilling mix of sports competition and martial arts novels.
