In a shocking revelation that has taken the entertainment industry by storm, a well-known middle-aged actor has been accused of engaging in lewd and inappropriate behavior on set, claims that have sparked major backlash from netizens.
On April 7, the YouTube channel “Channel Gojunghae” aired an episode of its Non-Non-Non series titled “Gambling Isn’t the Only Addiction!” where disturbing accusations were made against an unnamed actor.
Im Deok-young, who appeared in the video, testified, “There was a very famous middle-aged actor who would go to a secluded corner of the set, even with staff around, and engage in secretive acts.” One cast member reportedly reacted in disbelief, saying, “That’s a real patient.”
It was further revealed that staff and female co-stars had repeatedly raised concerns, even attempting to gently persuade the actor to stop by saying, “We’d appreciate it if you didn’t do that.” These pleas, however, seemingly went ignored, deepening the discomfort of those working alongside him.
This disclosure came alongside heavy conversations about addiction. Jang Hye-ri noted, “I’ve never done drugs myself, but I’ve heard that withdrawal symptoms make people feel like bugs are crawling under their skin,” while Im Deok-young added, “There’s an old saying that there’s no loyalty among drug addicts, they’ll turn each other in because snitching means getting leniency.”
Also appearing in the video, Shin Jung-hwan, who has previously made headlines for gambling scandals, shared a harrowing look into his own experience. “When I came home and looked in the mirror, my face was so gaunt. I barely ate because I was so obsessed.” He added that no one at the gambling tables was overweight, a chilling detail that highlighted the all-consuming nature of the addiction.
As of now, no official response has been made by the actor involved. Still, netizens have already taken to forums and social media to express outrage and demand accountability, calling for a formal investigation.
