(G)I-DLE’s Shuhua & WayV’s Hendery Faces Dating Rumors, What’s the Truth?

Previously on January 1, various videos and photos showing (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua and WayV’s Hendery sitting together in a restaurant emerged on the Chinese SNS platform Weibo. Via these pieces of footage, the two idols could be seen dining together alongside four other people.

While the images and videos do not showcase anything about Shuhua and Hendery’s relationship aside the fact  that they are acquainted, Chinese netizens speculated about a romance, leading to dating rumors of the two being spread. 

So far, SM Entertainment nor Cube Entertainment haven’t addressed the rumors, but a sasaeng fan’s claim seems to have effectively shut them down. 

In particular, a netizen shared on Weibo that they contacted a sasaeng fan to learn about the truth of Shuhua and Hendery’s relationship, and according to this alleged sasaeng fan, the two idols were dining separately, but Hendery’s male manager knew the female dancers that accompanied Shuhua. As a result, they shared the same table.  

Therefore, the dating rumors between the two idols are said to be baseless, and reactions from Chinese netizens seem to have largely eased after the aforementioned claims.
