On September 13th, the production company for the music show “Chicago” officially announced the casting changes through their social media account.
In particular, S&Co. stated, “Due to an injury sustained by actress Tiffany Young during her performance as Roxie, the casting has been changed as follows,” and provided the revised performance schedule.
The performances scheduled for September 15th at 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM, as well as the one on the 18th at 2:00 PM, will now have Ivy cast in the role of Roxie instead of Tiffany Young. The performance on the 21st at 2:00 PM will have Min Kyung-ah filling in.
Tiffany Young had previously injured her finger during a “Chicago” performance.
Upon hearing the news of Tiffany Young’s injury and the casting changes, fans expressed their concern with comments such as “Wishing you a speedy recovery,” “Get well soon,” and “This is worrying.“
Meanwhile, the 2024 production of “Chicago” began its run on September 7th and will continue performances until September 29 at the D-Cube Art Center.
